Mark, our oldest son, Joshua, and cousin, Bonnie Porter, climbed over 350 concrete steps to the top of Morro Rock in Sequoia National Park on May 11, 2021 in celebration of Mark's 1 year release from the hospital due to COVID-19. The observation area on top of the rock has an elevation of 6,725 feet. The climb can be strenuous especially due to thinner air at higher elevations.
